Cabin baggage allowances
The amount of cabin baggage that you may come with on the flight depends on your service class. Two pieces of carry-on baggage are permitted in First and Business class: one briefcase along with either one handbag or one garment bag. The briefcase should be up to 18 x 14 x 8 inches (45 x 35 x 20 cm). The handbag may not be more than 22 x 15 x 8 inches (55 x 38 x 20 cm). The garment bag should be less than 8 inches (20 cm) thick on folding. The weight of each of the pieces must not be more than 7 kg (15 lb). The customers of Economy Class are permitted one piece of carry-on baggage that should not be more than 22 x 15 x 8 inches (55 x 38 x 20 cm) and must weigh up to 7 kg (15 lb). Customers can carry up to 10 kilograms of cabin baggage in all the flights departing from Brazil. Purchases that are duty-free like cigarettes, perfume and liquor are also allowed in reasonable quantities for all classes of service. Liquid restrictions in effect may prevent these items from getting past security screening points on many airports. CUSTOMERS TRAVELING WITH INFANTS
The passengers in any service class who are traveling with an infant are allowed one piece of checked-in baggage for the infant that should be up to 55 x 38 x 20 cm (22 x 15 x 8 inches) in size and 23kg (50lb) according to the piece concept; or according to the weight concept, i.e.,10kg (22lb). Also, passengers traveling with infants (without a child seat) are allowed to take one carry-cot or one fully collapsible stroller into the cabin with them if there is space. If there is no room for these items in the cabin, they will be needed to get checked. If they get checked, then they will not be counted against your baggage allowance.
